Nick Bohr

Nick Bohr has been providing daily news reports for WISN 12 since October 1994. He has interviewed presidential candidates from Michael Dukakis, Jesse Jackson and Paul Simon to Al Gore, Al Sharpton and Howard Dean.

In the aftermath of the Sept. 11,2001, terrorism attacks in New York and Washington, D.C., Nick provided extensive coverage of events as they related to the country and southeastern Wisconsin. Nick also works on special projects for WISN's primetime news magazine "On Assignment," and was in Germany at the largest U.S. medical facility abroad, interviewing Wisconsin residents who care for injured soldiers from Iraq. He also reported live from Rome during the illness of Pope John Paul II.

Prior to coming to WISN 12, Nick worked at WISN-AM in Milwaukee, and WBEV/WXRO radio in Beaver Dam, covering local news. He graduated from Marquette University with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science.

Nick, his wife and two children (twins) live in Brookfield.
