I started working here when I was about 10. There was a comic book store that was on 68th and Lincoln and our business was on 72nd. Lincoln and I would work. They're all after doing for a couple blocks. I started as a shop helper. Sweep the floors, paint the walls straight in the shelves, clean the bathroom. I've done just about every job at this company, so my grandpa founded the company. I looked up to my grandpa so much I want to work my grandpa in 89 I started working myself into an install helper. When I was doing it, they called you grunt. You would drill holes in the side of People's Hollis is You sweep the floor, you clean up after the guys, you lay the concrete slab of the air conditioner. Then you move on to be an installer, which meant you started doing other facets of the job like the sheet metal work. And I started working myself into a service technician riding around in your truck, fixing stuff for people all day and all night. You got to be on your toes. You got to know what you're doing Problems aren't always self evident, so you've almost got to be kind of a detective that at some point that became the general manager. 2004. We started a five year by all the West Ellis heating air conditioning. So I own the company free and clear as a 2009 at which point I became the vice president of company. And at one point when I was the owner, I was in a service trucks. Still, I was still putting equipment, and I was still off salad equipment. I moved us from their home of 48 years on 72nd Lincoln to the current facility we're in right now, which is four times the size of it. So that was a big change. We didn't have service agreements until I took the company over, and that's what's helped this company grow. I'm gonna attribute it to just the way that I was raised. My dad had gone to Vietnam, came back from Vietnam, was a farm boy. I feel like my grandpa and my mom are the two smartest people I've ever known. I learned so much from him. Always be fair with people, always answer the phone. Keep your guys working. Be fair with your guys. He's influenced every facet of my life. I think he would be really grown.
