County health officials say they're seeing reports of fentanyl being mixed with heroin, cocaine and pressed pills

Racine County Public Health and the city of Racine Public Health Department are issuing a public health alert due to an increase in suspected opioid drug overdoses in Racine County. From April 30 to May 6, there have been four reports of suspected opioid drug overdoses have been seen at hospital emergency departments.So far, in 2023, Racine County has had 73 suspected overdoses. Racine County Public Health and the city of Racine Public Health Department are issuing a public health alert due to an increase in suspected opioid drug overdoses in Racine County.
