A $25 donation equates to one backpack full of supplies, while a $500 donation can provide backpacks for an entire classroom.“This is a chance to truly make a difference in the lives of area students who could really use our help,” adds Wade. “We’ve been incredibly impressed and grateful for the kindness of our community over the past 10 years. And we are hopeful that our generous viewers will come together once more and donate to this important fundraising campaign.”Since launching the ‘Class Act School Supply Drive’ campaign a decade ago, more than $510,000 has been raised to fill over 31,000 backpacks. In 2022, generous viewers donated more than $51,000 online, on-air during the phone bank, or via text messaging.
