One group is planning a march and protest of the Republican primary debate Wednesday in Milwaukee.
The group calls itself the Coalition to March on the RNC 2024.
Its members say Republicans are taking away reproductive and worker's rights.
They say the average resident in Milwaukee will not see the economic benefits of GOP convention next July.
"It feels that most elected here in Milwaukee have offered the perspective that the city will be rolling out the red carpet for the Republicans and their xenophobic rhetoric here in Milwaukee, " Omar Flores said. "While this might be true for some of the rich and some of the elected. That's not true for the residents of Milwaukee."
The protest will begin at Red Arrow Park at 7 p.m. Organizers said they did not apply for a permit with the city.
The group plans to continue its protests through the 2024 Republican National Convention.

The Tampa 5 were arrested at a March 6 campus protest, organized by Students for a Democratic Society at the University of South Florida against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ attacks on education.
