SERENITY INNS RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER. THE NEW $3 MILLION PROJECT IS LOCATED AT 28TH AND BROWN ON THE CITY’S NORTH SIDE. THAT’S THE REAL REASON WHY WE’RE DOING THIS. WE AVERAGE ABOUT 4 TO 5 CALLS A WEEK FROM COMMUNITY MEMBERS, INDIVIDUALS. THAT’S LOOKING TO GET INTO TREATMENT AND WE DON’T HAVE A BED AVAILABLE.

There is more help on the way for Milwaukee men suffering from substance abuse.Leaders broke ground Tuesday on a 14-bed Serenity Inns Residential Treatment Center. The $3 million project at 28th and Brown streets is on the city's north side."That's the real reason we're doing this. We average about four to five calls a week from community members individuals that's looking to get into treatment and we don't have a bed available," Serenity Inns Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Ginlack said. The new center is scheduled to open in fall 2024.
