A young boy in Florida called 911 for an emergency hug. In a video released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a mother and a deputy quickly realized what happened. "Did you call this gentleman?" the mother asks."I called him to give him a hug," the boy responded before running through the door and doing just that. The deputy accepted the boy's hug and then explained that 911 is just for emergencies.The boy apologized, and the deputy gave him a fist bump before telling him, "It's OK, kid."

A young boy in Florida called 911 for an emergency hug.

In a video released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, a mother and a deputy quickly realized what happened.

"Did you call this gentleman?" the mother asks.

"I called him to give him a hug," the boy responded before running through the door and doing just that.

The deputy accepted the boy's hug and then explained that 911 is just for emergencies.

The boy apologized, and the deputy gave him a fist bump before telling him, "It's OK, kid."
