EXACTLY. ALL GOOD THINGS. THANKS, MOLLY. WELL, OUR PERSONS OF THE WEEK TONIGHT, A GROUP OF COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WORKING TO MAKE TOYS MORE INCLUSIVE FOR ALL CHILDREN. MARQUETTE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING IN PENFIELD CHILDREN’S CENTER, HOSTING A TWO DAY BUILD THIS WEEKEND. THE GOAL? TO ADAPT TOYS, MAKING THEM MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES. THIS ALLOWS ALL CHILDREN TO PLAY, LEARN AND COMMUNICATE THROUGH TOYS. THE PRINCIPAL BEHIND ALL THE TOYS ARE THE SAME. WE’RE TRYING TO CHANGE OUT A BUTTON OR AN ACTIVATION METHOD IN THE TOY THAT MAY BE HARD FOR A CHILD WITH VISUAL. DEXTER PRETTY ANY SORT OF IMPAIRMENT TO OPERATE ON THEIR OWN? THE STUDENTS BUILT THE TOYS FOR THE PENFIELD CHILDREN’S CENTER, WHICH CARES FOR KIDS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS OR DISABILITIES. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED.
