THE WISCONSIN FARM BUREAU JUST PUT OUT THEIR ANNUAL SURVEY FOR THANKSGIVING MEAL PRICES, SO WE HEADED OVER WITH OUR OWN LIST TO THE PIGGLY WIGGLY HERE IN OAK CREEK TO COMPARE THOSE PRICES AS WE STARTED IN THE PRODUCE DEPARTMENT WITH SWEET POTATOES. THE BUREAU’S PRICE 342 FOR A 3 POUND BAG. WE FOUND THEM ON SALE FOR 207 FRESH WISCONSIN CRANBERRIES. THE BUREAU’S PRICE 229 AT THE PIG. 129 NEXT ON THE LIST IS A FROZEN BAG OF GREEN BEANS FOR THE GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE. RIGHT HERE, IT’S $2.79. THAT’S COMPARED TO THE FARM BUREAU’S PRICE OF 186. INSIDE TURKEY. WELL, I’M LOOKING FOR THE SMALLEST ONE, ACTUALLY. ON TO THE CENTER OF THE THANKSGIVING TABLE. THIS 16.4 POUND TURKEY GOING FOR $0.49 A POUND. AND THAT’S IF YOU USE YOUR PIGGLY WIGGLY SHOPPING CART. AND SPEND MORE THAN $30 MAKING THIS BIRD JUST $8.04. THE BUREAU HAS THEIR 16 POUND BIRD AT 2656. AND NOW TO EVERYONE’S FAVORITE, PROBABLY DESSERTS. THE BUREAU SAYS A BIG CAN OF PUMPKIN PIE MIX WILL LIKELY COST AROUND 435. WE FOUND IT FOR 349. AND JUST SO WE HAVE ENOUGH TO FEED EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY, PUMPKIN PIE, WE’RE GRABBING TWO PIE CRUSTS OFF TO THE CHECKOUT WITH A COUPLE EXTRA ITEMS ON THE FARM BUREAU’S LIST, LIKE STUFFING AND CREAM ARE PRICE TAG WELL, UNDER THE $58 STATE AVERAGE, TOTALING. $41.50, ALL THANKS TO THE DEEPLY DISCOUNTED BIRD IN OAK CREEK, HANNAH HILYARD. Wisconsin Farm Bureau says total is slightly less than last year

Wisconsin's Farm Bureau has crunched the numbers, and your Thanksgiving meal may be slightly cheaper this year. The organization said the average cost for a traditional holiday meal is $58.81 to feed a family of 10. That's down 1.36% compared to last year. It's also less than the national average of $61.17.
