That moment — combined with a very public kiss at the end of the show between the two celebrities — created perhaps the biggest moment yet for the already viral stars.After months of carefully dancing around the topic, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end finally opened up to Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce about how it felt to get that shoutout on the latest episode of the brothers' podcast New Heights (Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment).Kelce said he “had a little bit of a clue” that Swift would acknowledge him during the show, but the moment still caught him off guard. “But definitely, when I heard it come out of her mouth, it still shocked me,” Kelce told his brother. “I was like, ‘Oh, she really just said that.’ The concert wasn't just something of an official unveiling for the couple — it also marked the NFL star's first time meeting the 12-time Grammy winner's parents. The brothers discussed the Chiefs lanyard worn by Scott Swift, a known Eagles fan, at the show. The pair then joked back and forth about how the tight end had started working to convert the Swift family allegiance. The brothers also brought up Scott Swift's personal history with football, revealing that the father of the music icon played college football in Hawaii and Delaware as a linebacker turned center.While everything appears to have gone smoothly during Kelce's three-day excursion to Buenos Aries, the tight end unfortunately also got ribbed for missing a high-five with Scott Swift during the concert's now-famous lyric change. “Yeah, Mr. Swift, I apologize, big guy,” Kelce said. “Aw, man. I missed that. I never miss a high five, too. Big high-five guy. It’s the most electric thing you can do at an event, and so, sorry, Mr. Swift.”This will likely be one of the last major public appearances for the celebrity couple in a while. Kelce is now back in Kansas City following the Chiefs bye-week, and Swift is now fully into the international portion of the Eras Tour.
