WISN 12 Draws the Top Four Weekday Local News Audiences in Southeastern Wisconsin for November 2023

Station Leads All Other Local Newscasts with its 5, 6, and 10 p.m. Newscasts, plus 'WISN 12 News This Morning' at 6 a.m.

MILWAUKEE – November 22, 2023 – With one day remaining in Nielsen’s November 2023 sweeps period, WISN 12 continues its May and July 2023 sweeps successes, with a repeat of top audiences across every competitive local weekday newscast in the morning from 4:30 to 7:00 a.m., midday from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m., and evenings at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. among southeastern Wisconsin households. In addition, the station’s local newscasts at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. plus the 6:00 a.m. morning news hour, lead the market with four of the top five audiences in weekday news for the third consecutive major sweeps period.Weekday mornings, “WISN 12 News This Morning” draws the top news audiences with each of its newscasts from 4:30 to 7:00 a.m. From 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., “Good Morning America” is southeastern Wisconsin’s #1 network morning news. The station also achieved these same top morning news audience rankings in May and July 2023.In midday news, WISN 12 continues to draw the top audience with an average 21,215 impressions for its weekday 11:00 a.m. to noon newscast, followed by WITI’s 11:00 a.m. news hour with 17,454. WTMJ draws 19,118 impressions for its noon hour newscast while WDJT’s noon hour news draws 12,297.
