According to the latest information released by the Centers for Disease Control, the Midwest region has the highest increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations.Wisconsin, specifically Milwaukee County, has seen the highest spike in hospitalizations since January of this year. Milwaukee County Chief Health Policy Advisor Dr. Benjamin Weston says this is the county's highest positivity in nearly two years and the highest number of hospitalizations in almost one year in COVID-19 cases over Thanksgiving. According to Milwaukee County, less than one third of the county residents 65 and older received an updated vaccine this fall.

According to the latest information released by the Centers for Disease Control, the Midwest region has the highest increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Wisconsin, specifically Milwaukee County, has seen the highest spike in hospitalizations since January of this year.
