Looking for a new car for 2024? Car and Driver, a magazine that is also owned by our parent company Hearst, is unveiling its annual 10Best lists for both cars and SUVs/trucks.The 10Best boils down the entire vehicle to a number between 1 and 100 instead of scoring various categories. Before judging the car on how well it drives, as well as other features, to be eligible for the list the car must be on the market in January 2024 for under $110,000, a price point that is adjusted every year. The vehicles must either be new or significantly updated. Car and Driver also brings back the reigning winners to compete against the new challengers every year, allowing the former to defend their spots on the list. The magazine boasts that mixing last year's best with everything new means the 10Best list represents the best cars for sale and not just the best of what's new.
