Molly Bernard may be new to Milwaukee, but she’s familiar with the crazy weather we see in the Midwest. Before moving to Milwaukee, she spent two years working for WISN's sister station in Omaha, Nebraska, as the weekend morning meteorologist and reporter. During her time there she forecasted for and covered the region's historic floods in 2019.

She got her degree from The University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) and started her career in broadcast meteorology working for the FOX, NBC and CBS affiliates in St. Joseph, Missouri. She spent two years in Northwest Missouri as the weekday morning meteorologist before moving up the river to Omaha.

Molly was born and raised in the Kansas City Metro. The city's wide range of weather, along with a fear of storms at a young age, piqued her interest in meteorology. Kansas City also turned her into a big Royals and Chiefs fan, but she's excited to be back in a city with professional sports.

When she isn't working, Molly likes to spend her time running, reading and keeping up with KU basketball. She's also excited to discover new hiking spots with her dog, Andy.
