Madison Moore joined WISN 12 News in May 2023 as a morning reporter.  

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Madison discovered her passion for storytelling at a young age. She grew up watching the TODAY show every morning and NBC Nightly News each night with her parents where she quickly learned the power and importance of journalism.

 Madison is a proud graduate of Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York (Go Bombers!). She began her TV news career as a multimedia journalist at WSYR-TV in Syracuse, New York while she finished up her journalism degree. After graduation, Madison continued her career in Central New York spending two years at WSYR as a weekday nightside reporter before moving to Milwaukee. Madison is an award-winning journalist for her investigative reporting on nursing home neglect and was recognized for her breaking news coverage of flooding in CNY with a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award.  

Madison has learned from some of the best journalists around the world while shadowing correspondents during her internships with CBS News in London and the NBC News Dateline team in Los Angeles.  

Madison is very excited to be joining the talented and dedicated team at 12 News and exploring all that Milwaukee and the Midwest has to offer! When she’s not on-air you can find her checking out a new restaurant or brewery, exploring a museum, or spending time outdoors.
