KIND OF REACHED UP AND GRABBED HER AND BEAR HUGGED HER AND WALKED DOWN THE LADDER WITH WITH NO HANDS, JUST KIND OF. AS CAREFULLY AS POSSIBLE. LUNA IS NOW SAFE AND SOUND AND BACK ON THE GROUND. YESTERDAY, SHE WAS A LITTLE TIRED, YOU KNOW, SLEPT A LOT. BUT TODAY SHE’S BACK TO HERSELF. SO HOW DID SHE EVEN GET IN THE TREE? WE WERE THINKING THAT SHE CHASED A SQUIRREL. THE SQUIRREL TOOK OFF UP THE TREE AND LUNA JUST RIDE IT UP THERE. WHATEVER THE REASON, BRIAN IS GLAD LUNA IS HOME AND HE’S LEARNED A LESSON FROM HER ADVENTURE. IF SHE EVER GETS LOST AGAIN, WE LOOK UP BECAUSE SHE CAN CLIMB TREES. REPORTING IN EL DORADO COUNTY, ORKO MANNA KCRA THREE NEWS. AMAZING. Firefighters surprise man with cancer by decorating home for the holidays

Firefighters in Texas recently stepped up to provide a Christmas surprise for a couple going through a hard time.

The Loveless family told WFAA about their annual tradition of putting up a holiday display at their Dallas-area home.

But this year, as Tom Loveless fights lung cancer, he didn't have the energy to put up the usual lights and decorations.

That's where the firefighters of Dallas Fire-Rescue Station 11 stepped in.

On his deathbed, her father told her a secret: He was a fugitive and had robbed a bank in Ohio

Thomas Randele was dying of lung cancer and had a secret.

In March of 2021, with his daughter at his bedside in suburban Boston after his first chemotherapy session, he made a stunning confession: He was a fugitive, and had been one for more than five decades. More than 50 years earlier, when he was 20 years old, he’d robbed an Ohio bank of $215,000. And his real name was not Thomas Randele but Theodore Conrad.

To honor of her dog who died at Christmastime, a 9-year-old girl holds holiday pet drive to help shelter dogs

In 2022, at Christmastime, 9-year-old Milly Kukuczka's beloved dog passed away.

Bella had been a part of the Kukuczka family since Milly was a baby, and naturally, Milly was upset when her longtime four-legged friend died.

The holiday season has arrived, and Milly is reminded of Bella. But wise beyond her years, the 9-year-old girl has decided to channel her grief for losing Bella into a project that's making this holiday season a little brighter for other canines.

Students and a US senior airman rush to save mom, kids pinned under car

A group of more than 20 students, as well as a U.S. Air Force senior airman, are being credited as heroes for rushing to the aid of a mother and her two young children after they got pinned under a car that ran them over.

The family, which included a school employee and her two children, had been leaving and they were in the parking lot when the unexpected occurred. Surveillance cameras at the school caught video of the whole incident.
