Hannah Hilyard joined the WISN news team in May 2019 as a reporter after spending two years at KCCI, a Hearst sister-station in Des Moines, Iowa.

Before that, she spent time reporting and anchoring at WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois, which also happens to be her hometown. Hannah is a proud alum of Bowling Green State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

In her free time, Hannah loves going to concerts, eating good food and watching baseball. Her team of choice is the Detroit Tigers, and her most prized-possession is her signed Justin Verlander jersey (even though he got his ring with another team).
