Kendall Keys

Reporter

Kendall Keys is excited to continue her career in news at WISN 12 News after joining the team in August 2022.

Prior to moving to Milwaukee, she spent two years reporting for WNEM TV5 in mid-Michigan. There, she hit the ground running reporting on stories that caught and kept the nation's attention, like the Flint water crisis and Oxford High School shooting.

Her coverage on a 500-year flood that devastated the village of Sanford was included in a news special recognized with a Michigan Association of Broadcasters Journalism Excellence award. She has a passion for breaking news and being in the heart of the action.

Before she became a Cheesehead, Kendall was born and raised a Hoosier. Her hometown is Fort Wayne, Indiana. She attended Indiana University where she studied broadcast journalism, public relations, and criminal justice. Before graduating in 2020, she interned at WANE-15 in Fort Wayne and WTHR-13 in Indianapolis.

Kendall is looking forward to getting to know Milwaukee. As a cheese, brewery and festival lover, she thinks she'll fit right in. When she's not tracking down leads, Kendall enjoys running (half walking, usually), trying new restaurants and binging true crime documentaries.
